More parents fighting fuzzy math

Another parent group has formed to fight the fuzzy math plague. This time in Plainfield, NY.

Among the complaints:
Kids don't have basic skills.
Homework is unrecognizable.
Oodles spent on tutors.

Hat tip to Linda Moran.

I just want to belatedly thank you for posting that video about Everyday Math. I really had no idea how bad it was until I saw that.

It's simply remarkable that anyone could understand that and push the program anyway.

Would you mind if I posted that video on my site one of these days?

It's also about TERC, which is even worse.

Post the video any time. The more the merrier. It's not for me to mind one way or the other.

You can go to the original site http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr1qee-bTZI and pick up code to embed.
